See these 2 Blogs for biting Political Commentary

I came across this blog while killing time in Sai Baba's world (it strangely does feel like Disney World). Ummm Mooi's asleep across the street cause he got up at 3am to chant at Baba'a ashram .... don't ask cause I gots no answers. But this site below is truly provocative in a good way. It introduced me to the work of fellow South African Clinton Fein.

Check out Clinton Fein's recreated exibition photos of Abu Graib. Fein will exibit the pictures below in San Fransico (January 4, 2007) at the Toomey Tourell Gallery.

See Fein's blog at: http://www.clintonfein.com/

Fein is perhaps better known for this controversial website:

I intend this post as a reminder of the murder and mayhem policies of the US in Irq and Afghanistan. We must also not forget the thuggish human rights violations that the US is perpetrating in Guantanamo Bay, Irag, and Afghanistan. Bush and company must be brought to book.

A recent article by James Carroll in the Deccan Chronicle (December 21, 2006) perhaps puts it best when he says: "There will be no distant future unless humans, having seen through the congenital illusion of justice-and-peace through violence, come to the rejection of war. That must begin now. Democrats, take heed: Bush must not be allowed to further chaos. Having led the world into this moral wilderness, America has a grave responsibility to lead the way out. We have to cease killing other people's children, which is the way to stop them from killing ours."

Unlike Carroll I do not think that the Democrats should merely be trusted to stop Bush. Many of these folk supported Bush's 'war on terror' ... this includes Hillary and let's not forget Bill Clinton. In fact, the war on Iraq began with Bill Clinton.

The US has become an undemocratic beast that cannot simply be guided through procedural democracy. What is needed is more virulent mass action inside and outside of the beast.

If we just remain on the sidelines then the murder and mayhem will undoubtedly be extended to Iran. We should not forget that the road from South Korea through Vietnam and Nicaragua has led to Iraq. The blood train must be stopped even if the American voter/public is too complacent to do so!

Peace and Struggle.
