A Jena Perspective
Thousands of people took to the streets in Jena to protest for justice in the Jena 6 trial.
It was a peaceful and disciplined protest.
And the protest remained peaceful even when two white teenage boys decided to represent whiteness by driving this truck through the streets of Jenna. They had a noose on either side of this red truck.
This then is what they were representing in 2007. And they are not alone by far.
Jena = AmeriKKKa. Still.
There can be no conditional freedom, anywhere.
Onward!

I have such trouble understanding how people could think that brandishing a noose is just a "prank" (they keep saying that).
That us true Rent Party. Many of these folk most likely view racism as a personal issue without a history.
Thanks for raising this point.
Peace,
Ridwan
