A Corinne Bailey Rae "Quiet Storm"

In just 2 weeks I will be leaving the US for me motherland. There I will reunite with what I know and cherish even though I will miss my life here on the left coast too.

The last time I felt this urgency to be home I was standing in an electronics store in Dubai. I looked through the foreign exchange in my hand and bought a CD by Corinne Bailey Rae.

I remember listening to that CD on the 8 hour flight to Joburg. It made me happy and made me want to listen to music again. I have not stopped since then.

My web posts here will change as I navigate the slow and expensive web access in South Africa. But I will keep posting still, 'cause your ass reads me ;0)

So, I want to put my girl Corinne up again, she is amazing hey. If you been reading me then you know she has been up more than once. What can a brutha say ... she be all that fo' sure!

"Till It Happens to You"

"Just Like a Star"

"Trouble Sleeping"

"Go Put Your Records On"

This then my mid-evening gesture to Corinne Bailey Rae in the moments from the left coast that have all but ticked by.
