In 2006 Katerina Ann Bilek was crossing a street in Barcelona, Spain, when a speeding police motorcycle hit her.
The police motorcycle had entered a bus lane illegally when it hit Ms. Bilek who is from Britain.
Ms. Bilek is reported to have suffered only "moderate injuries" and, therefore, did not take legal action.
But, in a shockingly disgusting move, the "Barcelona city council has now sent her a bill of about 600 euros for damage done to the motorcycle."
Huh?
Has the Barcelona city council gone mad? Where is the justice in this move? Is this ethical?
I hope Ms. Bilek decides to sue their asses now, if she still can.
