Yep that is Colin Powell dancin' at London's Africa Rising festival a few nights ago.And here is what he told the crowd:
"I stand before you as an African American. Many people have said to me you became secretary of state of the USA, is it still necessary to say that you are an African American or that you are black, and I say yes, so that we can remind our children."So should we assume that some Black folk can forget that they are .... ummmm Black?
I guess if anyone should know it would be Colin Powell. ;0)
Obama has announced that this rappin' and dancin' fool will be an advisor to his presidency. Hmmmmmmmmm ... I wonder how the weak-kneed liberals feel about the reach that conservatives like Powell have inside the Obama machine?

Well, I'm hoping that Obama will be a "stealth" liberal. That is, he runs as a moderate and governs as a progressive. Sort of the opposite of what Junior Bush has done.
We'll see. One thing is for sure though: the Republican party is collapsing.
There is no way to see that as anything other than a good thing!
