UPDATE(January 23): I just looked at Niteflyer's blog and found out that the above essay is in fact the work of Professor Norman G. Finkelstein. CounterCurrents.Org where I first encountered this "photo essay" fails to correctly site Professor Finkelstein's work.

I hadn't known of Finkelstein until this photo essay actually and am now listening to this audio talk of his... interesting argument on how the international community can help the Palestinian cause.

He argues essentially for doing what Zionists have successfully done since the 40's - using paper victories (World court rulings) to mobilise and to effect political victories for Palestinians.
He also seems to be an important voice on the Holocaust Industry and am keen now to read this book Beyond Chutzpah - On the Misuse of Anti-Semitism and the Abuse of History.

Finkelstein is an amazing academic and respected for his scholarly work but that was not enough to get him tenure at Depaul.
He was fired last year and his works removed from the school's library because of his outspoken criticism of Israel.
Finkelstein like Ward Churchill found American academia to be less than open to dissent inside its halls.
Chomsky and others tried to intervene and stop Finkelstein from being fired but to no avail.
A real shame.
Anyway, just a little more on a very principled intellectual.
