Yes, We Were Paid and Housed to 'Nail Ruto'

William Kipkemboi Rono (Left) and Ken Braziz Wekesa (Right) allege to have been coached and bribed by a rights body to implicate Eldoret North MP William Ruto in the post-election violence. 
 
Kenyans continued to be treated to fresh revelations over the handling of witnesses allegedly bribed and coached by a rights body to incriminate certain leaders over post-election violence.

Comment: The rights body referred to above is the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR).

My week began with firm plans to meet commissioners and other related officials at the KNHCR but the story above has derailed me.  I am in a "holding pattern" to use another travel metaphor ;0)

I will try next week again but for now the allegations of bribery brought against a KNCHR official by the former Minister of Higher Education, MP William Ruto, is the burning news story, as of this writing.

It is a cloudy day with short burst of rain.  I am off to meet a treadmill with my name on it.

The weekend has just begun.
