Comment: I know there are a couple or more folks in the midst of a freezing winter far up north who are just frowning ugly in my direction about now.Sorry, but please understand that there is just so much a brotha can take of the blistering heat here in the dust bowl by the hole.
I am about done with summer and will gladly trade places with anyone in the ice box.
Onward!

Ridwan,
It's been a strange winter: vacillating between very cold and somewhat warm.
And for the third or fourth year running it seems as though we will have no spring (winter runs right into summer here these days).
I think it's the first year here I haven't found winter depressing or unbearable.
"I think it's the first year here I haven't found winter depressing or unbearable."
Kweli in my 8 winters in Portland I don't think there was one where I was not depressed and feeling like a duck.
I am happy to read you have had a few winters that are nicer.
A friend once asked me what it was like living in Portland.
I said that it is like getting up taking a shower, getting dressed for work, having breakfast and then standing in the shower fully dressed acting like all was good living in God's urinal.
;0)
Be well boet.
Onward!

Man, that's funny what you said about living in Portland.
Onward indeed.
