Comment: A news report says that folks traveling on the "N12 between Cape Town and Victoria West had been stuck on the road for more than nine hours due to heavy snowfall."
I also heard that if you have plans to travel from Kimberley to Hopetown and beyond you may want to change your plans. Roads are closed from Three Sisters onwards and this means if you trying to get home to Kimberley from Cape Town it is gonna be on cold night of uncertain delays.
South Africa is in the grips of a winter freeze but I am still trying to wrap my head around snow in the Karoo.
