Pieter Hugo's latest exhibition, Kin, opens in New York at the Yossi Milo Gallery from 6 September to 19 October. Created over the past eight years, the exhibition confronts issues of racial diversity and economic disparity in Hugo's homeland of South Africa, and "an engagement with the failure of the South African colonial experiment and my sense of being 'colonial driftwood'," says Hugo.See a selection of portraits and photographs from the collection, with captions from Hugo here:
