$700 Billion for Wall Street

The US is starting to look more and more like a banana republic. So much for the free market that successive presidents have waged brutal wars to advance in the rest of the world.

I guess what is good for the goose is not always good for the gander. And the oft repeated addage that free markets drive capitalism is no more than empty words.

It seems the capitalist system is broken and needs fixin' because it "is not normal". George W. Bush said so.

Damn, and I was counting on living large off my US pension here in Mandela's nightmare.

Guess not huh?

So, I am announcing the 'suspension of my campaign toward hope and sanity in either country'. :0)

Onward!

Yeah let's party brother. Screw all the angst about the future and planning for this and that ...

In a strange way I feel a lot less stressed ... I guess giving up hope can do that hey.

Peace Dade,

Great picture. And yes - I seem to be the least stressed person about all this I know IRL because I have been predicting it for years. Financially I'm as screwed as anyone but at least I don't have a big new truth to try to wrap my mind around.

I could not have said it better Cero.

Just an excellent description.

Peace to you,
