Blame it on the Boogie

I remember the first time I heard this Jackson Five cut.  I was about 13 years old and on vacation with my family in Lesotho.

My feet were tapping in the foyer of the then famed Holiday Inn in Maseru as I listened to this newest hit from the Jackson 5.

The beat was irresistible then as it is now and I vowed to get the album.  Still working on that one three decades later :)

Back in those days families of color who could often escaped South Africa for a vacation in Lesotho or Swaziland.

I don't remember much more than this cut from that holiday in 1978 but I remember the usual dread as we re-entered South Africa.
