Comment: See accompanying AP article entitled "Tibetan Lights Self on Fire at Anti-China Protest".  According to the article the protester above is identified as Jamphel Yeshi.  As of this writing he is receiving treatment for severe burns at a hospital in New Delhi.

In the last 12 months more than 30 protesters have set themselves alight to bring attention to the plight of Tibet under Chinese occupation.

This blog is emphatic in its support for a Tibet free from Chinese oppression and occupation.

Thanks for supporting the Free Tibet Movement. It is not suprising in this free world that countries and governments safe-guard their own interest and does not wish to anger the Chinese but free people who value truth, freedom and peace can speak-up.

You are absolutely right. Thank you for taking time to comment.

It is a shame that countries like South Africa have turned their back on supporting the freedom of the Tibetan people - but rest assured there are many here and elsewhere who are not blinded by the influence of the China.

Onward! to a free Tibet
